Empathy

What would make a man wheel a piano into an elephant sanctuary, in order to play classical music to old blind elephants? He clearly is not gaining fame or fortune. There is no ostensible advantage for this act of kindness. He has obviously put himself in the place of those elderly elephants, and sought to bring them comfort. He has empathy, which per the Zetas is often based on prior painful experiences or DNA similarities. The Zetas were asked early in the ZetaTalk saga about the two spiritual orientations – Service-to-Other or Service-to-Self. What determines the split? The selfish remain immature.

Man Plays Piano to Sooth Ailing, Blind Elephants at Sanctuary in Thailand

They say an elephant never forgets, and those at Elephants World in Thailand will certainly never forget Paul Barton. Barton is the man who introduced these elephants to classical music. The first time Barton played his piano at Elephants World, a blind elephant that was eating his breakfast stopped in his tracks when he heard Beethoven for the first time.

ZetaTalk Explanation 11/15/1995: In the beginning, each forming entity is aware only of themselves. Self awareness is a constant state in all life of whatever form, but at the start this is the only state. Whether incarnated or not, forming entities first become aware of others based on the effect upon the self. Is the effect pleasant or unpleasant, dominating or acquiescing, desired or resisted. Incarnated or not, social interchange has begun. Sense of the other is also born in this context, not only in awareness of the partner in social interactions, but by observing others undergoing a similar experience. Empathy is in essence the statement, "I was once there, and I understand." There is first self awareness, second reacting to the presence of others, and last the capacity for empathy. Following the development of the capacity for empathy comes the determination to intercede, to rescue, and as an adjunct to this determination the entity begins cooperative efforts, the sum being greater than the parts.

Empathy is evident in volunteerism, where people step forward to make a difference in someone’s life. An example is how a group of 200 bikers stepped forward to escort a bullied child to school. The district already had 3 suicides from bullying, and when Defenders of Children called the bikers for help, they knew just what to do. Opiate addicted infants, born drug addicted because their mothers were addicts, are frantic during withdrawal. The hospitals drug the infants and slowly put them through withdrawal, often ignoring their cries, or bring in the warmhearted volunteers who rock and hold these infants. Volunteers do not expect to get rich or gain the stage. They simply have empathy, and care.

200 Bikers and 'a Wall of Leather' Escort Bullied 10-year-old to School
June 21, 2017

https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/nova-scotia/bikers-motorcycles
A U.S.-based bikers group called Defenders of Children contacted bikers in Cape Breton. The 10-year-old Cape Breton boy hitched a ride on a motorcycle and was accompanied by about 200 bikers as he made his way from his home to Harbourside Elementary in Whitney Pier, N.S. Xander's mother, Katie Layboldt, said her son has been the target of bullies since the beginning of the school year and received death threats over the winter. Flanked by bikers from across Cape Breton and wearing his own custom leather vest, Rose walked into the school with a big smile.

Hugging Babies Born Addicted to Opioids Is a Powerful Treatment
December 1, 2017

https://www.healthline.com/health-news/volunteers-hug-opioid-dependent-babies
Volunteers that cuddle opioid-dependent babies help them recover faster and with less medication withdrawal. Cuddling newborns is making headway in neonatal intensive care units (NICUs) across the country as a crucial part of the treatment plan for babies born addicted to opioids. A baby is born addicted to opioids every 25 minutes, adding up to more than 21,000 babies each year. Inevitably, each baby must endure severe symptoms of withdrawal. Symptoms begin anywhere from 24 to 72 hours after birth. The most common symptoms include visible tremors, piercing screams, vomiting, difficulty breathing and sleeping, fever, sweating, and the inability to eat.

ZetaTalk Comment 7/15/1995: Love, or empathy, is something felt at an early age. Empathy is not an emotion reserved for the intelligent, sentient being alone. Love and empathy are felt by all forms of life, even plant life, to some degree. It is a factor of life. It is intrinsic to life.

Per the Zetas, all sentient creatures develop empathy for others, primarily for their own species, but the intensity of their empathy and resolve to help others is at times astonishing. Take the story of Scarlett, the young mother cat who ran through flames 5 times to save her brood. The firemen on site reported she kept going back into the flames, despite the intense pain she must have experienced. Scarlett nursed her kittens and was adopted into loving arms, true karma for such true love.

Scarlett
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scarlett_(cat)
When the fire was under control, one of the firefighters on the scene, David Giannelli, noticed Scarlett carrying her kittens away from the garage one by one. Scarlett herself had been severely burned in the process of pulling her kittens from the fire. Her eyes were blistered shut, her ears and paws burned, and her coat highly singed. The majority of her facial hair had been burnt away. After saving the kittens she was seen to touch each of her kittens with her nose to ensure they were all there, as the blisters on her eyes kept her from being able to see them, and then she collapsed unconscious.

ZetaTalk Comment 5/15/1996: Man values his intelligence, forethought, empathy, and consciousness, as these place him above the other animals on the Earth, or so he thinks. Animals with the same genetic structure can scarcely help but experience empathy with each other when cries of distress are heard or the tensed posture of defense is assumed. Early empathy is simply shared neuron patterns and shared experiences. Sentience is not exclusive to man, or to mammals, or to the Earth - it is concomitant with life itself throughout the Universe.

Dolphins are known to protect the pod, to protect each other, particularly from shark attack. Sharks are reportedly afraid of dolphins because they know the dolphin pod can kill them by ramming their pointed noses into the soft underbelly of the shark. Per the Zetas, most empathy manifests first within the same species, but the dolphin instinct to rush to the rescue is not limited to their own species. They have repeatedly been shown to defend humans from sharks. From one warm blooded species to another, they obviously care.

Dolphins Rescuing Humans
April 26, 2017

https://www.dolphins-world.com/dolphins-rescuing-humans/
Dolphins in the wild usually help the sick pod mates, supporting them to reach the surface so they can breathe. In Greek and old sea stories, there are dozens of claims of dolphins helping drowning sailors, rescuing people from sharks, and making themselves useful as guides through treacherous waters.

ZetaTalk Comment 9/12/2009: Empathy is something many animals feel for their own species, as this enhances the preservation of the species. Protecting others in the family group or herd or pack or pride is instinct, again allowing the preservation of the species.

Stepping up in the face of danger to defend or help others is well known in human society. Look at the behavior of the SWAT team that went into the face of danger to help those being massacred at the Tree of Life synagogue recently. Two policemen had already been injured, one of them shot, so they knew the shooter had an automatic rifle and was a good shot. Four SWAT team members then went in and were shot, one critically, as a result. “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for another.”

What to Know About the Pittsburgh Synagogue Shooting
October 28, 2018

http://nymag.com/intelligencer/2018/10/what-to-know-about
At 9:50 a.m. Saturday morning, a neo-Nazi gunman walked into the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh’s predominantly Jewish Squirrel Hill neighborhood and shot everyone he could find, ultimately killing 11 people. Ten minutes after the attack began, at 10 a.m., the first responding police officers made it to Tree of Life. They immediately encountered Bowers, who was exiting the building as they arrived, and he and the two officers exchanged fire. One officer was shot in the hand, and the other received shrapnel wounds from broken glass. The officers, pinned down, reported that Bowers had an automatic weapon. The SWAT team encountered Bowers on the third floor at 10:47 a.m., and he opened fire on them, shooting two officers multiple times, critically injuring one. The gunfight continued until was Bowers was cornered.

Such heroics among those in the armed services is not unusual. There are many examples of those in combat losing life and limb while trying to help their fellow comrades. Soldiers returning home from Afghanistan rushed a gunman on a train in France, risking death. Malala Yousafzai challenged the Taliban by refusing to abandon education for herself and other girls in Afghanistan. She was shot in the neck, but survived to be a guest in the media, spreading her message of determination in the face of intimidation. Per the Zetas, both these heroes were assisted.

US Soldier: How We Stopped Train Gunman

After the suspect was restrained, Mr Skarlatos - who only recently returned from a tour of Afghanistan - began disarming the gunman's pile of weapons and realised the AK-47 had jammed. "He didn't know how to fix it, which is very lucky". Mr Skarlatos added: "We just did what we had to do. You either run away or fight. We chose to fight and got lucky and didn't die."
Malala Yousafzai
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malala_Yousafzai
In early 2009, at the age of 11–12, Yousafzai wrote a blog under a pseudonym for the BBC detailing her life under Taliban rule, their attempts to take control of the valley, and her views on promoting education for girls. A New York Times documentary was filmed about her life as the Pakistani military intervened in the region. On 9 October 2012, Yousafzai was shot in the head and neck in an assassination attempt by Taliban gunmen while returning home on a school bus. The assassination attempt sparked a national and international outpouring of support for Yousafzai. In the 29 April 2013 issue of Time magazine, Yousafzai was featured on the magazine's front cover and as one of "The 100 Most Influential People in the World".

ZetaTalk Admission 8/29/2015: The world is polarizing, with acts of sadistic control such as ISIS displays and touts almost daily balanced by heroism such as Malala displays. Malala’s light stands as an example of heroism against oppression, and indeed her survival was assisted, in a heartbeat, by the Council of Worlds allowing an intervention. The four heroes on the French train did not think of themselves, but knew that unless the attacker were disarmed all on that train would be massacred. Unlike the train staff who barricaded themselves and turned a deaf ear to the passengers they left to be slaughtered. Now, as with Malala’s light, we will have Spencer’s light. An example for others to follow.

Mankind’s scientists, it seems, just don’t get it. They have concluded it may be the size of your amygdala, or that a hero is just programmed by instinct to save mankind. For those who are Service-to-Other, it is taking away the pain that another is feeling, or would feel. Like the Grinch who Stole Christmas, whose heart grew 3 sizes the day he discovered empathy, the souls of Service-to-Other people become more wise and massive. Spiritual growth is the goal, here on Earth. So do that.

Maybe Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store.
Maybe Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more!
And what happened then? Well, in Whoville they say
That the Grinch's small heart grew three sizes that day!
The Science of Extreme Altruism: why People Risk their Lives to Save Strangers
October 15, 2014

https://www.vox.com/2014/10/15/6973971/extreme-altruism-risk-life
Psychologists and neuroscientists — who call this sort of selfless action "extreme altruism" — consider this question a real mystery. Some people are endowed with very little capacity for feeling empathy with others, perhaps reflected in the reduced size and activity of their amygdalas. Others, meanwhile, are capable of feeling empathy much more profoundly, and do things like save strangers from burning cars, and donate their kidneys to people they've never met.
Why Do People Risk their Lives to Help Others During Emergencies Such as the Boston Marathon Bombing?
April 19, 2013

Perhaps surprisingly, some people may be genetically hard-wired to help others, while some sociologists think a sense of selflessness can be instilled with practice.

EMP Redux

Airplane disasters due to electro-magnetic pulse (EMP) have been on record since 2009 when AF 447 went down over the Atlantic Rift due to all its electrical systems failing. This was relayed by the automated onboard system, but the media blamed the crash on bad weather. Then there was MH 370 over Indonesia waters in 2014, and German Wings flying into the Alps in 2015, both blamed on suicidal pilots despite evidence of electronic failure during both crashes. MS 804 went into the Mediterranean and 7K 9268 crashed on the Sinai and TU-154 crashed in Sochi in 2017, all after coming in over water. Now we have JT 610 in Indonesia. Despite earlier problems with the plane’s elevators, the Zetas say the key is the radio silence during the flight.

Lion Air Crash: Boeing 737 Plane Crashes in Sea off Jakarta
October 29, 2018

https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia
The pilot and co-pilot had more than 11,000 flight hours between them. Established in 1999, Lion Air operates domestic flights as well as international routes to South East Asia, Australia and the Middle East. It has had issues of safety and poor management in the past and was banned from flying into European airspace until 2016.
Indonesia Search Says ''Likely'' All 189 Aboard Crashed Jet Dead
October 29, 2018

https://www.ndtv.com/world-news/lion-air-crash-updates-plane-crashes
Data from flight tracking service FlightRadar24 shows the first sign that something was amiss came about two minutes into the flight when the plane had reached 2,000 feet. At that point, it descended more than 500 feet and veered to the left before climbing again to 5,000 feet. It began gaining speed in the final moments and reached 345 knots (397 mph) before data was lost when it was at 3,650 feet.
The Mystery of the New Boeing Jet That Plunged Into the Sea, Killing 189
October 29, 2018

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-10-29/boeing-s-first-737
There were already hints of possible causes: a request by pilots to return to the airport, a maintenance issue on a previous flight and erratic air speed tracked before the jet’s final dive. The two-month-old 737 Max 8, operating as Flight 610, took off from the capital Jakarta headed for the island tourist destination of Pangkalpinang, at 6:20 a.m. local time Monday. Air-traffic controllers lost contact 13 minutes later when the plane was at an altitude of about 3,000 feet.

ZetaTalk Confirmation 10/31/2018: Where at first glance this sudden plunge of JT610 might have been caused by a faulty elevator, pointing the nose of the plane down to a rapid descent, there are other clues which must be taken into consideration. Air Traffic Control lost contact with the pilot when the plane was still at 3,000 feet. Lost contact. This was not the pilot distracted and not speaking, it was lost contact. Radio silence. Indonesia has had many problems with Electro-Magnetic Pulse because the Sunda Plate is being squeezed, and thus the rock has electronic screech. The water is also shallow in many places, facilitating a connection between the EMP blasts from Nibiru and the screech.

Thus caught between these two points, the electronics on a plane are zapped, failing. This happened to MH370 and MH066, both originating from Kuala Lumpur in 2014 and flying over shallow water. MH370 had massive electronic failure which caused the crew and passengers to die from lack of oxygen and the plane to fly on old auto-pilot instructions out over the Indian Ocean. MH066 had engine problems but survived. In these matters the EMP is denied. Blame is placed on the weather or pilot error or even suicidal impulses of the pilot. Airline profits are all that matter to the elite.

Plane crashs are on the rise, as noted in the Pole Shift ning blog dedicated to this issue. The establishment continues to deny EMP is responsible, as this would point to Nibiru as the cause. Despite the Schumann Resonance spiking off the charts daily, an unprecedented onslaught, while the Sun is virtually asleep.

San Andreas Creep

The Zetas have described the N American Continent bow, wherein the diagonal tug to pull the NE of the United States to the East and the SW of the United States to the West will eventually rip the New Madrid Fault Line in a diagonal manner. The West Coast, per the Zetas, would follow this adjustment with increased volcanic activity and, of course, slip-slide adjustments along the San Andreas. So what does increased activity in the Salton Sea along the San Andreas mean? Bow stress is increasing.

The Start of the San Andreas Fault is Hit by the 'Slow One'
November 2, 2018

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-6343583/The-bubbling-stinking-mud
Imperial County officials studying the muddy spring say it has has been increasing in speed through - first 60 feet over a few months, and then 60 feet in a single day. The bubbling pool as a naturally occurring geyser has been in existence since 1953, but recently began moving. The area is at the end of the San Andreas fault. An image provided by Caltech seismologist Egill Hauksson shows the earthquake swarms of 2001, 2009 and 2016 in the Salton Sea.t

ZetaTalk Prediction 12/11/2010: Great quakes, such as magnitude 9, should not be expected, but eruptions in the West Coast volcanoes should be anticipated. A slip-slide fault line usually does not move all at once, but in a domino fashion, a bit here, a bit there.

ZetaTalk Analysis 7/16/2011: In southern California the Amboy and Salton volcanoes appear relatively inactive, with 10,000 and 14,000 years respectively since last activity per the USGS. But note their close proximity to many fault lines and the San Andreas itself. Though the San Andreas is considered a slip-slide fault, devastating only on the fault line itself, the New Madrid adjustment will do more than move the land up or down along the San Andreas.
